Laura’s funeral was Friday. As a result, most of her friends were unable to go. I wish you could have been there to say goodbye to her. The funeral was nice. Some of her family spoke and read wonderful poems for her. I spoke last, telling of the love Laura and I had, and telling of the great stength and courage Laura displayed while we were together going through everything.
I know many people have memories of Laura, and I want to hear about them. I also want a place to reference for her friends and other loved ones to come to in order to read about the great person that she was. I want this post to be that place. I am going to screen comments so that nothing terribly inappropriate comes through, but I want people to share memories of her, thoughts about her, tributes to her, etc. If you were a previous customer, and own some of her wonderful garments, it would be great to see pictures of you in her work. If you need a place to host the pictures, email me at daniel@bottle-imp.com and I will host them on thepalecourt.com. I will be continuing to pay for The Palecourt to keep it open as a place to pay tribute to Laura. I will post a link there to this post after this gets a few things posted by people.
I thank all of you again for all of your love and support. I am still shattered, and probably will be for a long time to come. She was a part of my heart, and her not being with me leaves a void that may never be filled. I am getting functional again, I just need to figure out what I want to do with myself. That will come in time.
Again, thanks, and I look forward to hearing from everyone.
