Kambriel’s tributes
After Laura passed, I had a bunch of Laura’s unfinished clothing designs. Kambriel took them and finished them, and did a few wonderful displays with them.
When friend & fellow independent designer Laura Purdy of The Pale Court died tragically young, Kambriel volunteered to complete all of Laura’s unfinished work. She spent an entire year sorting, puzzling together, and finishing them all, then photographed the collection in the UK countryside (a place Laura always longed to go) for a fashion editorial as well as a tribute fashion show in New Orleans to preserve Laura’s memory and the legacy of her designs.

One of the places she showcased the finished designs was in Gothic Beauty magazine. The spread was in issue number 22.
